    Adobe Illustrator CS3 bug (Now with picture!)

    So far, it only seems to happen on PCs, not Macs... tried it on both, but it seems to happen quite consistantly on all PCs tried. I'm kinda curious if anyone knows anything about it or if they themselves can reproduce the same bug. ^_^

    In the layers palette, create a new group inside a layer. Then click in the tiny space inbetween the > arrow to expand the layer and the thumbnail next to it.

    That's it.

    It crashes Illustrator, right? It's just that tiny space too. If you click to the left, it expands the group, if you click to the right, it selects the group. If you manage to click and it neither expands or selects the group, it simply crashes.

    Weird huh?

    I did, I submitted a bug report to them. It's the official copy of CS3 at work. ^_^

    I don't think it does, I've never had the problem.

    In illustrator it usually happens because I go to expand a group but I "miss" by a few pixels. But then it crashes. ;_;

    It's only on PC - that bug's been there since it's release - I just thought I was being an idiot and made Illustrator crash from my incompetence of clicking too much...but it's good to know it's not me. Happened at uni all the time.

    I've had CS3 Mac since it's release on my laptop and it works perfectly.

    So - Mac =1 / PC = 0
