Wind Elemental by HoiHoiSan Wind Elemental by HoiHoiSan
Model: Jenny

Another of the lovely Jenny! I was unsatisfied with my last elemental of "air" since it wasn't too "airy"... but since then, I've levelled up my Photoshop skills!

All elements used in the photos are either stock images or taken by myself. ^_^

First off, this pic is GORGEOUS! I'm wondering if you'd allow me to use it in a teaser trailer I'm making for my novel? I am making absolutely no profit off of it and you will get the credit. A link to a website or to your deviant art profile. Whatever you prefer. Please let me know as soon as you can if you'll allow me permission! If you want to see more about the book, you can check out my website, www.dianailinca.com. It's called Zirconya: The Sage of Aluh'Nehn. Thanks so much!

Sure, sounds good to me. :) You have permission to use my artwork in a not for profit fashion. You can link my deviant art account. :)

Good luck with the writing, let me know if there's any art you would like me to do. My gf is a writer so I know how hard it can be :)

Ah! If only i'd gotten this a couple hours before! I had to post the vid that day so I had to use a diff image :( BUT, if it's all right with you, I'd still like to use it in a character profile video I'm now working on. Thank you so much! And I wish your gf good luck!

Oh, as for art you can do, do you charge?

Depends on what it is and what it's used for. If I like the idea, sometimes I do art for free, but usually I'm cheap :) Drawing commissions usually range about $40 each, I've never been commissioned to do a photomanipulation, but I'd guess it's about the same.

Well, I've been doing it for about 6 years now, drawing for about 15... and I do it for a living as a graphic designer, so I've had lots of practice.

BUT! I've never taken a day of classes in my life, I went to school as a computer engineer. So I totally think anyone can do it if they want to bad enough :)

can you tell me how..but i haven't posted my works yet

It's... complicated. I took the picture of a girl, cut her out, overlayed her over smoke which I aligned to her body, intersected them, deleted everything else, and then overlayed that over clouds. ^_^

I mean, the theory is short and easy, the practice... not so much. But I hope that helps a little. It's just a lot of experimenting for me.

I posted more or less how I did it somewhere else on this thread. It's not TOO terribly difficult, it just takes a bit of patience and lots of experimenting. ^_^
