sounds like it is worth it! I would prolly get the foam at a crafts store and theres probably a tutorial online?

I did a tutorial for foam bending... I got thick foam sheets from foamtiles.com. The foam you get at craft stores usually aren't thick enough to make anything other than detail pieces and thin armor.
